The last day of half term was devoted to Breast Cancer Awareness. The children had a lot of fun dressing up in pink. The also donated 10dhs towards cancer research in this important battle against cancer. Thank you children and parents for your participation and donations.
In Year 5F we 'got down and dirty' (sorry parents for any extra washing this week), as we made our Significant Structures out of mod rock. The children worked in teams of 3, designed their building and using boxes from home, constructed an iconic building. They then taped the structure together, covered it in mod rock and painted. Needless to say the children had a lot of fun!
See if you can recognize the buildings we made? Year 5F working hard in Science. Finding out how to separate materials using different methods such as filtering and discovering which materials form solutions and which don't. As you can see....it was fun! http://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/ks2/science/materials/changes_materials/read/1/ |
