What an amazing day we have had at JPS! My first International Day and the first for a few children in 5D who have joined us this year. The children were amazed by the stalls with such amazing food, music, clothes and culture from all of the different countries! And the dancing this morning was a great way to start the day!
We had Christian dancing the Hakka, Malak performing an Egyptian dance, EunHee and Tiara performing an Arirang from South Korea and Charlie taking part in an Australian song. Well done 5D!
Thank you so much to all of our parents for their effort and enthusiasm, it was so lovely to see the pride everyone takes in their home culture.
We haven't had an achievement award this week as there was no assembly and we aren't here next Thursday so I will choose another person in a few weeks.
Just to let you know, we have started having our spelling test on a Sunday morning but we are a week behind so the words the children will be tested on are not the ones that went on the Weebly yesterday but from the week before.
Thanks again for an amazing day, 5D have loved it!
